Platelet rich plasma injections are now popular for many medical fields such as skin rejuvenation, gynecology, dentistry, musculoskeletal disorders… The treatment involves reinjecting the patient’s own platelet rich plasma into the treated area, delivering an abundance of growth factors that stimulate the body’s normal healing response.

This webinar is part of a new program of weekly webinars, focused on various therapeutic areas in regenerative medicine. Topics will include dermal, orthopedic, and urogenital subjects from near-mature treatments like knee osteoarthritis, to up-trending topics, such as post-menopausal woman sexual health and male erectile dysfunction. << Consult the full program >>

TOPICS DISCUSSED :

During this webinar, we will explore a translational approach, where our specialists will present in vitro evidence of PRP’s regenerative effect on human dermal fibroblasts and also its impact on other cell types (such as mucosal vaginal cells). The in vitro studies also evaluated the biological effects of PRP when combined with HA as an autologous treatment for vulvo-vaginal atrophy.
Additionally, a collection of clinical data of this autologous and safe therapy will be presented.
