Pr Hersant Barbara

Professor Barbara Hersant is a renowned French plastic surgeon specializing in aesthetic, reconstructive, and regenerative surgery. She practices at the Department of Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgery at Henri-Mondor Hospital in Créteil, where she balances clinical practice with academic teaching and scientific research.

Holding both a medical doctorate and a PhD in science, she is also accredited to supervise doctoral research. Professor Hersant leads several university programs at Paris-Est Créteil University, particularly in aesthetic medicine and reconstructive genital surgery. Her areas of expertise include body contouring, breast and facial surgery, genital aesthetic surgery, and the management of lipedema. She is also a recognized expert in the use of adipose-derived stem cells and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) in regenerative medicine.

In addition, she serves as the Scientific Director of the AIME Congress (Assises for Innovation in Aesthetic Medicine) and as Secretary General of the European Association for Genital Aesthetic Medicine and Plastic Surgery (EAGAMPS), playing a key role in advancing and promoting aesthetic and regenerative medicine on an international scale.
